At Brands Hatch motor racing circuit (off the A20)

Ever wondered what it would be like to run round the world-famous Brands Hatch motor racing circuit? Well, now’s your chance.

Running fitness, the magazine for people passionate about running, has once again teamed up with leading specialist brand Saucony to bring you a racing (that’s running!) experience like no other.

The Brands Hatch Half Marathon, which takes place on 7 February, is in its fourth year and continues to go from strength to strength. Why? Because there are virtually no other races like it in the country.

Competitors will be able to tread the same ground that racing legends like Prost, Piquet and Moss have burned round in former years. Last year, just under 1,000 people went under starter’s orders before ‘scorching’ round the hallowed track.

You’ll start and finish on the grid, before heading out on a testing 13.1-mile course that will take in the whole of the circuit, making it a day to remember. And, with a 10k and the one-mile Bananaman Chase, supporting the official charity for this year’s race, Leukaemia Research, there’s something for all the family to enjoy.

Competitors will be able to toe the line with the TV Times celebrities, one of the official sponsors of Leukaemia Research, the only charity in the UK dedicated

exclusively to researching blood
cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other
lymphomas, and myeloma.

Perfect for every runner preparing for a spring marathon, this unique event is a
great race for first-timers and experienced athletes alike as the challenging course is traffic-free.
So, come join the Running fitness team,
TV Times celebrities and Saucony and
experience an event you’ll not forget!
